Playoff Prediction: 1. Alabama 2. Ohio State3. Clemson4. Notre Dame

Recap: Unfortunately, I was unable to make my weekly predictions last week because I was at my cousin’s wedding. I did make some bets online and had Texas defeating Oklahoma straight up. I truly believe that Texas QB Sam Ehlinger has fully grasped Tom Herman’s system, and Texas’ defensive backs were the best that Kyler Murray has faced which led my prediction. Notre Dame keeps passing tests week in and week out, and I think they are primed to make the playoffs as of right now because the SEC most likely won’t have two teams represented in the playoffs. I think Georgia is a very good team, but I don’t think they can compete at Alabama’s level right now. Luckily for Georgia, they have several months to improve. Florida had a big win this past week, defeating LSU at home by a score of 27-19. Florida’s defense under DC Todd Grantham came out to play and quickly rebounded after allowing LSU to score on their first drive of the game. Florida DE/OLB Jachai Polite will continue to rise up draft boards if he continues his stellar play. Dan Mullen still needs to find his QB, but he is looking like the right hire for Florida. Clemson bounced back this week, defeating Georgia Tech 63-3 after narrowly beating Syracuse last week. Michigan is still alive in the playoff race but must win out in order to have a chance at securing a playoff spot. Michigan vs. Wisconsin, LSU vs. Georgia, and Washington vs. Oregon are the three match-ups of ranked teams to watch this week.

Stock Watch:

Up: Texas QB Sam Ehlinger, Florida OLB Jachai Polite, Clemson RB Travis Etienne, Michigan TE Zach Gentry, Michigan QB Shea Patterson

Neutral: Colorado QB Steven Montez, NC State QB Ryan Finley, Iowa QB Nate Stanley

Down: Missouri QB Drew Lock, Boise State QB Brett Rypien, Buffalo QB Tyree Jackson
